Plain-English summary of what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and account credentials when you sign up. When you generate outfits, we process the garment images you upload and the prompts you select. We also collect technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, and usage patterns to operate and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to provide the Outfitk service: authenticating your account, generating AI images from your inputs, tracking credit balances and subscription status, and delivering notifications. We do not sell your personal information. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve model quality and product features.
3. AI Generation and Image Processing
Garment images you upload are stored securely and sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) only to fulfill your generation request. Generated images are stored under your account and accessible only via signed, time-limited URLs. We do not train AI models on your uploads or outputs.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account data lives in Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Image files are stored in encrypted object storage with signed-URL access. Passwords are hashed; we never store them in plain text. We apply industry-standard safeguards but no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
5. Third-Party Services
Outfitk relies on the following providers, each governed by their own privacy policies: Supabase (auth + database), Google Cloud Platform / Cloudflare R2 (storage), and Google Gemini / OpenAI (AI generation). We share with these providers only what is strictly required to deliver the service.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, but signing in won't persist across sessions if you do.
7. Your Rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@outfitk.com. If you're located in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA — including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a regulator.
8. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Generated images stay until you delete them or close your account. Billing records may be retained longer to comply with tax and accounting laws. After deletion, we keep minimal records only as required by law.
9. Children
Outfitk is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, contact privacy@outfitk.com and we'll remove the account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Outfitk after changes go into effect means you accept the updated policy.
